"Having published a series of reports on the occupation of the legislature, the Polish media group Niezalezna — which owns several print and online news outlets in Poland, including the daily Gazeta Polska Codziennie, the weekly Gazeta Polska and the monthly Nowe Panstwo — received a letter from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Bureau in Poland
"Hanna Shen, the reporter for the media group who wroted [sic] the story * * * said she was shocked when she received the letter. 'My newspaper has been publishing articles very critical of the governments of Russia, China and the former Ukrainian government, but we never received any letter from the representative offices of those countries asking us to retract anything,' she told the Taipei Times in a telephone interview in English.
(b) The newspaper does not have follow-up report today ( a day later), which usually publishes reports of the next day by the 11 am--US Eastern (Standard or Daylight-saving) Time--of that day (due to the fact that Taiwan's time is a half day ahead that of US).
(c) Usually, a ONLINE report of this newspaper is read by hundreds of people a day (there is a counter at the bottom of the Web page). As of now (2:30 pm EDT, Sunday, Apr 6, 2014), however: "This story has been viewed 50237 times."
(d) Google the news media group, and I can find no return in English about it *certainly no Wiki page). There is a Polish-language Wiki page for the group, which looks like it was founded in the second half of 2000s (online only?). Here is its website, in Polish ONLY (no English switch): Niezalezna
My comment:

(b) Just like the protest in Tiananmen Square in 1989, political factions in Taiwan are maneuvering around the protest there.
(c) Legislative Speaker Wang Jin-pyng = 立法院院長 王金平
"老谋深算的台湾立法院长王金平 [a political rival of Ma Ying-jeou at least since both running for KMT chairmanship in 2005 when Lian Chan stepped down after losing two presidential elections, both against Chen Shui-bian] 在沉默了20天之后终于谋定而后动,决定出招,而且下手快、 狠、准,在星期天 [11am local time] 出人意外地前往立法院探视占领立法院议场的学生 [for the first time since the Sunflower Protest started: both visiting--and entering--the Legislature AND speaking out about the protest],王金平除了对学生们发出温情呼唤,要孩子们 '早点回家,' 也承诺在两岸协议监督条例完成 立法前 '不会召开服贸协议相关的党团协商会议。'
