Keith Bradsher, Smaller Companies in China Pinched as Credit Dries Up. New York Times, Apr 16, 2014
("the government is reining in credit at a time when concerns are mounting about the health of the economy, putting Beijing in a difficult position")
My comment:
(a) Appearing in the first page of Business section, the report is under the combined heading "World's Growth Engines Falter," The other report is
Simon Romero and Landon Thomas Jr, Brazil's Star, Petrobras, Is Hit by a Scandal and stagnation; Despite its stumbles, the company remains a market darling.
(b) There is no need to read these two NY Times reports. At most, the first three paragraphs of the Chinese-language report on China, about an entrepreneur’s lack of access to credits.
