Ma did not tell Xi "我現在還在等."  Ma says that to audience (in Taipei) today.
(b) Ma speaks, "Come on, this is my office."  Ma also states, "Then who? Who else?"

Ma did not speak English to Xi. Today's speech in Taipei is conducted in English.
