(a) In quotation 1, "its first wholly owned advanced fabrication plant" obviously emphasizes "advanced" rather than "wholly owned" -- referring to a 12-inch plant, because TSMC already has a 8-inch plant in China.
(b) There is no need to read the rest of Reuters report, which is based on the press release from TSMC.
