My comment:

形象再次受到重创. Why? I do not know. (Fundamentally, I heard some criticism about his handling of the matter, but had no idea how widely those criticisms were/are shared by the public.)
(b) "马英九向来感到自豪的 '清廉，' 却因为台北大巨蛋体育场的问题，被说成是图利他人。"
Again I am clueless, how he might have anything to do. His mayoralty lasted 1998 – 2006.
