It is understood on the (Feb) 15 that the Tsai administration of Taiwan was notified, in advance of the Trump/Xi phone call on [Feb] 9, of summary of Trump's pronouncement on "One China." A high-ranking official of the Tsai administration lets on/reveals.
In the phone call, Trump expressed/declared the honoring of "our" (American's) "one China policy." Regarding this, it is suggested that Taiwan had the knowledge of the declaration before hand, when the official states: "We completely took ahold of the situation. There was no need for over-reaction."
* Do not worry about "our." Considered right-wing, Sankei has had a wonderful relationship with Taiwan for more than half a century.
