标题: Hong Kong's Cheng, via Goshawk, Buys Twenty 737s
Robert Wall and Andrew Tangel, Boeing, Airbus Clinch $43 Billion in Order. Wall Street Journal, July 17, 2018.
("the deals [] come as the biennial Farnborough Air Show kicks off outside London. * * * [Like Airbus] Boeing is sold out of its narrowbodies for several years [in the future]. Brian Cheng, chairman of Gooshawk Aviation Ltd, said the first of the 20 737 Max 8s his firm is ordering is due for delivery in 2023. 'We are definitely capable of taking aircrafts [sic] much earlier,' he said")

Note:
(a) There is no need to read the rest, which is not important.
(b) "Boeing is sold out of its narrowbodies for several years"

sell:
"1.3 (sell out) [no object] sell all of one's stock of something  <they had nearly sold out of the initial run of 75,000 copies>
1.4 (sell out) [no object] be all sold  <it was clear that the performances would not sell out>"

(i) goshawk

(may refer to Northern goshawk, Accipiter gentilis, often referred to simply as the goshawk, since it is the only goshawk found in much of its range (in Europe and North America) )

The en.wikipedia.org for Northern Goshawk shows a world map that demonstrates this species winters in parts of China. Still I fail to find a Chinese term for this species.
(ii) Natalie Lung  and Prudence Ho, Chinese Tycoon to Buy Irish Plane Lessor for About $2.8 Billion. Bloomberg, July 9, 2018

Quote:

"Hong Kong billionaire Henry Cheng's jewelry-to-property business empire will acquire Dublin-based Sky Leasing for about $2.8 billion, including debt, to bolster the group's aviation business.  Though the Cheng family's Goshawk Aviation Ltd announced the deal last month, it didn't disclose the value at the time. Of the total, 70 percent of the purchase will be funded with debt and the rest from Goshawk parents Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Ltd 周大福企業有限公司 and NWS Holdings Ltd, Brian Cheng, one of the patriarch's sons and an executive director at NWS, said in an interview.  'The growth driver will be aircraft leasing in the next five years,' the younger Cheng said at his office in the city [Hong Kong, where Chow Tai Fook, NQD and NWS are based] last week.

"Cheng's father ranks as Hong Kong's fourth-richest man, with a net worth of $15.7 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Hong Kong-listed NWS is a subsidiary of New World Development Co [Ltd 新世界發展有限公司 (established in 1970 by Cheng Yu-tung 鄭裕彤); 彤, whose pinyin is tóng and which means red 赤], the family's main property, hotels and infrastructure company.

(C) The en.wikipedia.org page for NWD states "1997 New World Services Limited ('NWS') [新創建集團有限公司] is established to consolidate all the services-related businesses within the group."

(e) Victoria Moores, Lessor Goshawk Mulls IPO. Aviation Daily (perhaps online updates of Aviation Week), July 16, 2018
http://aviationweek.com/awincommercial/lessor-goshawk-mulls-ipo
("FARNBOROUGH—Aircraft lessor Goshawk Aviation ordered 20 Airbus A320neos and 20 Boeing 737-8s—marking its first direct orders from both manufacturers. The company said it is planning an initial public offering (IPO), although it has not decided on timing. Dublin-based Goshawk was founded in 2013 as a 50/50 joint venture (JV) between Hong Kong-based conglomerate NWS Holdings and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises. Over the last five years, Goshawk has built up a fleet of 183 owned, * * * ")

The website of Goshawk Aviation shows almost all of its officers (about three dozens) are white. I fail to find why the Chengs established the aircraft-leasing company in Dublin, half a world apart.
