A person who is arrested shall have a judicial determination of
probable cause no later than 48 hours following the person's arrest, unless probable cause has been determined prior to such arrest." https://www.courts.wa.gov/court_ ... uleid=cljcrrlj3.2.1
My comment:
(a) Last night I was wondering How come Washington state may hold an arrestee for 72 hours though Supreme Court says 48 hours MAXIMUM. research shows Washington state comports with the Supreme Court decision.
(b) Why "Courts of Limited Jurisdiction"? An arrestee will be always arraigned at a Courts of Limited Jurisdiction (usually district court). He can not do so in superior court (the exception is he will be directly arraigned in superior court after indictment for a felony).
