My comment:
(a) 法人說明會 (shortened to 法說會 in Taiwan) investor conference
(b) I departed from Taiwan in 1984. As far as I can remember, 法人 was not used this way. Instead use in Taiwan was the same as in Japan.
(c) Japanese-English dictionary:
* hōjin 法人 【ほうじん】 (n): "corporate body; corporation; (legal) person"
法人 is translated from "legal person" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_person
(in contrast to natural person [自然人 in Japanese and used in Taiwan])
* ippan za-i-dan hōjin 一般財団法人 【いっぱんざいだんほうじん】 (n): "general incorporated foundation"
in contrast to 公益財団法人 public interest incorporated foundation
See also 財団法人 (an) incorporated foundation
* ga-i-koku hōjin 外国法人 【がいこくほうじん】 (n): "foreign corporation"
