My comment:
(a) Regarding "Mathewson saw his Predators outperform the Air Force's most
advanced fighter jets, it seems to me that the report does not explain in
details why the drone (predator) could do what fighter jet could not. More
maneuverable due to the smaller size? Also I can not understand why Iraqi
insurgents did not shoot down the drone.
(b) It is predicted that in three decades, US Navy (and possibly Air Force)
will operate almost planes unmanned. At the time maybe Air Force is
unnecessary.
