My comment:
(a) The report states, "民兵在美国独立建国战争中功不可没，开国先贤们在宪法中
写下了有关民兵和拥枪权的条款。" This refers to the Second Amendment to the
United States Constitution.
(b) The report misstates when its says, "国民警卫队，他们平时有自己的生活和
工作，一般每星期抽出一个周末并在一年期间抽出两个整星期参加军事训练." That is
a former recruiting slogan "One weekend a month, two weeks a year" which "
was dropped during the Iraq War after it became clear that Guardsmen were
now serving considerably more time in service." Wikipedia.
