(a) The report mentions 简氏国际防务评论亚洲特派员平可夫. Mr. Chang has a new hat.
(b) Mr. Kan is a red guard? I cannot find it in the English- or Japanese-language web sites (红卫兵 is written the same way in Japan). But China-based Chinese-language web sites states Mr. Kan was 东京工业大学红卫兵的头子 (graduated from social sciences 社会工学科 in his alma mater).
