Nothing unusual. The first ten years in US, I looked up books in various places (used-book store, MIT libraries, etc) to read various books about China and Taiwan. The more I read about China--I meant the old books about China before 1980s, I more I was convinced KMT told truth about CCP (we in Taiwan rejected the junks as KMT propaganda, but many f the junks turned out to be true). I was shocked to view photos of Chinese peasants pulling plows themselves, as opposed to by draft animals (such as cattle).
