Excerpt in the window of print: The origin of this morass dates back to late 2008, when Beijing unleashed a massive wave of loans
My comment:
(a) The summary underneath the title in print: "Companies' liabilities now exceed 120 percent of GDP."
(b) Just take a look at the graphic (titled "China's Sky-High Debt; Corporate, household, and public debt add up to a frightening number"), which indicates in 2012 the combined debts (mentioned in the title) amounts to almost 210% of GDP. There is no need to read the text.
Japan is "the only country in the Asia-Pacific region that doesn’t regulate property investment by foreigners
"Japan ranks in the top 10 percent of countries by water resources
"China leads the purchases of Hokkaido forest and water rights with 21 transactions out of a total of 57. Hong Kong buyers using Virgin Islands-registered offshore companies accounted for another nine

(b) Regrading "maiichi kakaku Yasuku."

(4) Ashlee Vaqnce, Lemnos: A Silicon Valley Incubator for Hardware.
My comment:
(a) Lemnos Labs is not much different from a venture capitalist and/or a workshop providing space for a tinkerer to test her ideas. So just read the first two paragraphs, about a burger machine.
(b) Momentum Machines http://momentummachines.com/
There is not much information in the home page, though.
