(Author of the new book
My comment: In late 1970s in Taiwan, I (a resident of City of Kaohsiung) went with my classmate to his hometown 屏東縣潮州鎮. I was introduced to a grammar school teacher, a man in his forties, who said humbly that his life-long wish was to write a book after retirement--a book whose content would be too politically sensitive that he had to wait. Neither my classmate nor I dared to ask what it was about. Taiwan was under martial law then.
