My comment: Yesterday I searched web in vain to find
(a) how much, if any, of foreign reserves in other nations included Renminbi
; and
(b) if US holds Russian Ruble as reserve.

My comment: It is hard to assess China for an outsider like me, especially since I have never set foot there. A few Americans said Chinese were quite content (including the freedoms they enjoyed), satisfied with the tack and direction that nation was taking and so on. So this article, which does not talk about China, offers a perspective of an Indian. Although per capita GDP of Indians is nowadays about a third of that of a Chinese (because Inida started reform later than China), Indians can see material gain and loss of innocence ascribed to the reform.
