, which is translated from

Yahoo to Shutter China Office and Cut 'Around 350' Jobs. BBC, Mar 19, 2015.
www.bbc.com/news/business-31957704

Quote:

"The Beijing research centre is Yahoo's only remaining physical presence in the country after it sold its Chinese operations to Alibaba in 2005.

"Outside the Yahoo research centre, an employment agency staged a guerrilla-style PR campaign offering the sacked staff new jobs. [the following paragraph:] Many Yahoo employees appeared unimpressed as they walked by men dressed up in silver, alien outfits.

"The move by the internet giant, however, doesn't come as a huge surprise. Yahoo has been rapidly retreating from the Chinese market. In 2013, it stopped offering services to email users in China.

Note:
(a) Regarding quotation 2. It is clear hat the people in white outfits are from the employment agency. That is why Yahoo employees were "unimpressed."  But reading the translation (by BBC no less) gives you the impression tat Yahoo employees were ESCORTED by the people in white outfits.

translation: 在雅虎北研的办公室大楼外,一家雇佣代理机构已经展开了“游击式”的推广活动,帮助被裁的员工寻找新工作。 [the following paragraph:] 多名雅虎员工被一些身穿银白色服装的人员送出办公室,他们的表情相当不悦。

The translator (likely in Beijing) misunderstood.
(b) The last section (heading: '尽皆败局' (quotation marks original)) in the translation is unique, not showing up in the original. On the other hand the last section (heading: China operations) of the original is not translated, either.
