(b) "胡德华本人在接受美国之音独家专访时特意强调，有媒体曾报道他的离岸公司注册地址是胡耀邦任总书记时的四合院是 '谎言。' 他对美国之音说：'我回来查了一下注册文件，我可以肯定地告诉你，并通过你转告所有报道和关注此事的媒体和通讯社，注册地址绝不是他们所报道的什么 "胡耀邦出任总书记时居住的四合院。["] '

My comment:
(a) "欧蕾珊在给美国之音记者回复的电子邮件" is not in the public domain, not available in the Web (I did search just now). So I can not make an independent judgment. And I do not know the significance, if any, of the point Mr Hu Dehua raised.
(b) However, the paragraph about Mr Hu Dehua in

seems unambiguous: The ICIJ does not say Mr Hu's COMPANY registered with a Beijing address, not Mr Hu HIMSELF.

(i) text of the ICIJ report: "The five other current and former Standing Committee members whose relatives are connected to offshore dealings are:

The late Hu Yaobang, who served as head of the Chinese Communist Party from 1982 to 1987, has a son named Hu Dehua who was shareholder, director and beneficial owner of Fortalent International Holdings Ltd., a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands in 2003. Hu Dehua registered the company using his home address — the traditional courtyard home where his father lived while party chief."

(ii) further down in the ICIJ report: a collage who caption read:
