My comment: The Chinese language of this report it hard to understand. There is no need to read this report. What you have to know is both the Xinhua tweet and The Paper 澎湃 criticism are written in ENGLISH.

My comment: What is odd is: At the bottom of the Sixth Tone report is a copy of Xinhua twee. Lucky me: I have found a Google cache of the Xinhua tweet at issue, which is not exactly the same as that offered by Sixth Tone.
