(i) BBC has a report dated today (July 26) and titled "Divorcee Destroys Ex's $1m Violin Collection in Japan" cited the above Kyodo News and explains:
"The incident took place in 2014 in the midst of their breakup but the woman has only just been arrested.
"Her 62-year-old former husband is said to have been both a maker and collector of violins.
"According to Japanese media, the woman is a Chinese national and was arrested on Tuesday upon returning from China to Tokyo.
(ii) "The alleged victim, Daniel Olsen Chen, 62, a Norwegian national living and working in Japan, is a former violinist who maintained a making and repairing workshop in Nagoya." from another news report I find in the Web
