(1) Jake Van Der Kamp, My Prediction: the Coming Collapse of China's Ponzi Scheme Economy. South China Morning Post, Aug 27, 2017.
http://www.scmp.com/news/article ... onzi-scheme-economy

Quotation in the window of print: "As long as it keeps growing everything is fine. When it stops growing it collapses

Note:
(a) Jake Van Der Kamp has been a financial columnist since 1998 at SCMP.
(b)  "Friends who have a greater interest than I do in reading the tea leaves in Beijing tell me that the emphasis in relations with Hong Kong from now on will be on one country rather than two systems.  I think this phrases things the wrong way."

I wonder if the verb "phrases" should be "frames."  But "phrases" is equally likely. See phrase (v):
"with object and adverbial  put into a particular form of words  <it's important to phrase the question correctly>  <George paused, pondering how to phrase his next words>"

(2) Demetri Sevastopulo and Shawn Donnan, Trump Twice Rebuffed Chia Offer to Cut Steel Output; President ignored commerce secretary's backing of deal on easing overcapacity and instead urged imposition of tariff. Financial Times, Aug 30, 2017, at page 3
("A week after the July G20 summit in Hamburg -- where Mr Trump criticised China for flooding the world market with cheap steel --Beijing proposed reducing steel overcapacity by 150m tonnes by 2.22/ But the US president twice rejected the move," also in July)

My comment: There is no need to read the rest.
