(1) Alfred Liu, Angus Whitney and Jun Luo, Don't Lie to the Bank of Taizhou.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/f ... oughen-up-its-staff

Note:
(a) summary underneath the title in print: A Chinese lender finds a way to make loans to businesses the giant banks ignore
(b) The online version is somewhat different from the print version. Here is the latter, most of which is locked behind paywall:
https://www.scribd.com/article/3 ... The-Bank-Of-Taizhou
("Bank of Taizhou 台州银行 is being called China's most profitable lender. The little-known bank specializes in lending to entrepreneurial businesses * * * 'It works because they're a local bank, they know what's going on' ")")

(2) Shannon Sims, Unnatural Disaster; What happened when the US government flooded one of Houston's wealthiest neighborhood to save everybody else. (one of the three feature stories).
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/f ... -save-everyone-else

My comment:
(a) Cover: Heartache and anger in the neighborhood sacrificed to Harvey
(b) The online and print version is one and the same.
(c) Just read the first six paragraphs -- and view the map. Contrary to the subtitle and cover, the federal government released water from two reservoirs because it had no choice. It happens in Taiwan, too, during typhoons.
