My comment: Ohio-class submarine can be equipped with Trident missiles (with
nuclear warheads) or with cruise missiles. USS Michigan is the latter.

My comment: I do not know. But US was very much pissed off when Taiwan
Legislature enacted law on Jan. 5, 2010 to ban import of US bone-in beef and
inards, despite agreement between the Ma administration and US. At the time
, US stood firm not to negotiate long-stalled TIFA, a step further toward
Free Trade Agreement, for fear of creating a precedent that an agreement can
be re-opened with an eye to change terms (thiink Okinawa bases). (
Personally I thought the Taiwan ban was irrational, without support of
science.) Now US seems to eat its words and be nice with Taiwan.
