MURONG Xuecun, Full Text: 'Absurdities of China's Censorship System.' Time, Feb 22, 2011
http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,2052967,00.html
("Writer Murong Xuecun prepared these remarks on censorship as an acceptance speech for a Chinese literary prize. But, as he approached the platform, he was abruptly barred from speaking. He delivered this version of the talk at Hong Kong's Foreign Correspondents Club on February 22, 2011")

My comment:
(a) A HOng Kong report the day after the speech.

(b) At first I thought, "I am sure his Chinese-language original can easily found in the Web."

Well, in fact there is none, after I double check.
(c) I have no idea if he delivered the speech in English or Mandarin. Supposedly it is Mandarin. But surprisingly there is simply no Chinese version of the speech.
(d)
(i) Just now I did find this Chinese speech. But obviously it is a tranlation, rather than the original text in Mandarin.
(ii) Further, the translator is not quite familiar with a few things. For example, Hong Kong's Foreign Correspondents Club became  香港外国记者俱乐部, whereas the official Chinese title is 香港外國記者會.
(iii) At last, Time magazine does not have Chinese edition.

(e) Luckily I found the raudio recording of his speech. In a library whose computers do not provide sound, I am clueless about what language the speech was delivered in.

2011.02.22 - FCC club lunch with Murong Xuecun. Foreign Correspondents' Club, Hong Kong, Feb 22, 2011.
http://www.fcchk.org/article/201 ... lunch-murong-xuecun
("Speaker: Murong Xuecun[;] Topic: Absurdities of China’s Censorship System")

But a critical clue is English permeates the entire web site of FCC, EXCEPT its Chinese name.

Indeed, even the name outside the building is "FCC" without a Chinese character.
Foreign Correspondents' Club, Hong Kong

So it is conceivable that Mr Murong's speech was in English.
