"AMD Chief Ececutive Rory Read stopped short of saying that AMD would definitely add ADM-based technology to its chips in ther future [but it is believed to be the case].

"Such possibilities are a sign of how the exploding market for mobile devices is causing many companies to alter their strategies. The x86 design used by AMD and Intel is the foundation of virtually all personal and most server computers. But the two companies have struggled to make headway in the mobile device market, in large part becuase of the lower power consumption of ARM-based designs.
