(iii) Please take notice this pair (impress-impressment) has the same etymology (in + press) as the other pair (impress-impression)--but each pair has different meanings.

(c) The review stated, "In the early 19th century, American policy focused on sovereignth--on asserting the rights of the United States as a country unto itself."

unto (prep; Middle English, probably from un- (as in until) + to to):
