My comment: I read this and yawned. A myriad of companies are making or
selling smartphones. Then I came up the following.

My comment: Although Nokia has for years been the leading smartphone
purveyor (and still is), its halo is eclipsed in the past two years--first
by iPhone and recently by Research in Motion (RIM). So the title of this
report is no news, either. However, I took a gance at the graphic and said,
"Wow!"  HTC remains behind Apple and RIM (not to mention Nokia) in units
shipped, but HTC's growth (also measured by units shipped, as compared with
the same quarter a year ago) is by leap and bound.
