Barbara Demick, A family in China made babies their business; The lucrative
trade in newborns was fueled by an adoption frenzy that saw government-run
orphanages paying for children who they then made available to Westerners.

My comment: Chinese do not treasure girls (and women). Girls are aborted,
killed upon birth or abandoned. What is galling, to me anyway, is Chinese
are busy selling the girls to foreign adopters. in my opinion, Chinese have
no business complaining of lack of manageable women. It is a problem of
 entirely their own making.
