My comment: Well , Taiwanese are not to blame, for not attending to mosques. Around 1980, I really wanted to be a muslim, part of my efforts to distinguish myself from other Taiwanese. Could not be done, because they gather Friday afternoon, which is impossible. I came to US, got free Koran (bilingual: English and Arabic), which is exceedingly boring. (On the other hand, my younger brother in Taiwan once went with me to Mormon worship on Sundayl he said nothing afterward, but it was obvious he was bored. |
