Note:
(a) Born and raised in Detroit, Mr Brown is 31 years old. After college , he played for Winnipeg Blue Bombers of Canadian Football League (CFL). In US, it appears that only newspapers in Detroit talks about this news. Even more surprisingly, no Chinese newspapers reports this. He coach the Chongqing Dockers 重庆码头工队 before the Chongqing bar fight Sept 24, 2016, and was tried on July 18, 2017 (almost a year ago), has been in jail for 20 months since the arrest, and is sentenced today  (no news report says where).
(b) Ball State University (1876- ; public; based in Muncie, Indiana ("50 miles (80 km) northeast of Indianapolis": Wikipedia for that city); got the name from benefactors Ball brothers, founders of Ball Corp, which made glass jars for home canning) who bought a bankrupt then-private institute in 1917 and gave to the state the next year -- when Ball Corp was based in Muncie)
