(1) Page 2 described a dog shared by Kaylee Goncalves and her ex boyfriend Jack Ducoeur. Affidavit page 4 stated. "At approximately 4:15 am, a security camera located at 1112 King Road, a residence immediately to the northwest of 1122 King Road, picked up * * * A dog can also be heard barking numerous time starting 4:17 am.
(2) The bottom of page 4 says, "DM stated she opened her [bedroom] door for the third time * * * and saw a figure clad in black clothing and a mask * * * walking toward her."
I had thought a person who had just knifed four would be covered in blood and left bloody shoe prints. and it is amazing that DM did not call 911 until noon, Nov 13, 2022 (about eight hours later).
(3) Page 5 remarked, "During the processing of the crime scene, investors found a latent shoe print. This was located * * * by first using a presumptive blood test [my guess is investors assumed some blood, though unseen, might be on the shoe soles] and then Amino Black, a protein stain that detects the presence of cellular material [cellular here means of cells; cells in biological sense; of course there would be no live cells; just proteins]. The detected shoe print showed a diamond-shaped pattern (similar to the pattern of a Vans type shoe sole) * * *"
(a) A latent fingerprint is one a person can not see with naked eye, but reveals oneself upon dusting with powder, say.
(b) Amido black 10B

(c) Vans
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vans
Van is the the first word in the (Dutch) last name of brother co-founders.
Search images.google.com with (Vans shoe sole), you can see the rubber sole is made up of, in close-up, many diamond-shaped hollows.
(3) last paragraph at page 18 of the affidavit: "based upon the above information I am requesting an arrest warrant to be issued for Bryan C Kohberger, (DOB) 11/21/1994, for burglary at 1122 King Street [sic: should be 'Road'] in Moscow Idaho, and four counts of Murder in the First Degree for the murders of * * * "
Idaho Statutes 18-1401: "BURGLARY DEFINED. Every person who enters any house, room, apartment, tenement, store, shop, warehouse, mill, barn, stable, outhouse, or a building, tent, vessel, vehicle, trailer, airplane, or railroad car with intent to commit any theft or any felony is guilty of burglary." (emphasis added).

This crime in state of Idaho is similar to breaking and entering a residential place under Massachusetts state law.
