(1) Today I used Fortiguard Labs's Web form to make a complaint about its Web filter:
"I go to Dedham, Massachusetts public library to use its computers. On Thursday, May 9, 2024 the library installed new computers and likely new software. FortiGuard Web Filter is apparently among the new software, because when on Saturday, May 11, 2024 )computers were not available for two days during the installation in the library ) I went to a Bulletin Board Service (BBS) with the URL yilubbs.com I was blocked to reach the website because you said it is a porn site. I complained to the library, but administrator was not there on weekend. Also on May 11, I complained to Fortiguard via its Web form, threatening it with a lawsuit in Boston, Mass. Somehow, Fortiguard directed my complaint to anti-spam division of Fortiguard, which asked me to complaint to your division. Please reassess your rarting, which is terribly wrong, and interferes with my First Amendment right for information.
(2) Fortinet
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fortinet
(table: Headquarters Sunnyvale, California, Revenue US$5.30 billion (2023), Net income US$1.15 billion (2023); "Brothers Ken Xie and Michael Xie founded Fortinet in 2000. * * * In 2005, Fortinet created the FortiGuard Labs internal security research team")
(3) Dedham Public Library always closes on Sundays, and on Sundays I usually come to Boston Public Library, which obviously does not subscribe to FortiGuard. That is how I am able to get back to Yilubbs.com.
