"HTC, a Taiwanese smartphone maker, said shortages of components has slowed
production of two of its phones: the Droid Incredible for Verizon Wireless
and the Evo 4G offered by Sprint Nextel Corp.

"HTC hasn't said what components were behind its production problem, though
analysts have pointed to the displays. HTC has said that for future devices
it has added suppliers, recently signing a deal with Sony Corp. for screens
for a new HTC phone.
