(a) This report is essentially translated from an English-language report by AFP.
(b) The report states, "中国疾病控制和预防中心在其网站上说，中国每10万人中有22.23人自杀。* * * 中国有13亿人口，每年有287,000人自杀，每年企图自杀者多达200万人。"

I can not find the number (22.23 suicides/100,000) in the website of

However the number is correct, which refers to success only, excluding suicide attempt.
