(a) the content can not be independently confirmed.
(b) Even if it is true, I do not think US aids Tsai. I did not think US aided Ma in the lead-up to the 2012 presidential election, where US granted Taiwanese visa-free visits, dispatched high-ranking officials to visit Taiwan etc.
