There is no need to read the VOA report.

The website of 中国疾病预防控制中心 does not contain the statistics. But the second sentence of the People Daily report clearly stated the source (oral, not publication): "中国疾病预防控制中心性艾中心党委书记韩孟杰在国家卫生计生委在线访谈时表示."
