(2) Stacey Higginbotham, Why Everybody Needs a Connected Doorbell. A look at this year’s hottest product category, with model from SkyBell, Ring, Vivint, and August.
fortune.com/2015/12/12/smart-home-connected-doorbell/
("When a visitor rings the [Wi-Fi-enabled] doorbell, a notification appears on your phone’s screen. Tap on it to launch the application, from which you can view a video stream of the person at the door. * * * With such a system you can start talking to your mailman, neighbor, or even would-be robber and convince them that you are home when you aren’t")

Note: The subtitle ends with name of four startups.

(3) Big Tech Gets Bigger.

, which is the last item in
http://fortune.com/investment-guide-good-stocks-bad-times/

My comment: The bar chart shows that at least for now, the new tech companies (Apple, Google and Facebook) are doing better than the old tech ones (Cisco, IBM, Intel, and Qualcomm; all manufacturers).

(4) Scott Cendrowski, Seven Things You Need to Know About China.
http://fortune.com/china-info-investors/

Note: A graphic compares China's official GDP with "Capital Economics China Activity Proxy (CAP)."
(a) Founded in 1999, Capital Economics Ltd is based in London.
(b) Economy Was Gaining Momentum at End of Q2.  Capital Economics, July 22, 2015 (under the heading "Services: China Economics")
https://www.capitaleconomics.com ... ntum-at-end-of-q2a/
("Our China Activity Proxy (CAP) points to growth being markedly slower than the official figures show. That said, it supports the view that growth stabilised in Q2")

Why is the latest news in that Web page, old news?  Because it wants people to pay, except journalists who will cite the company.
