I am saddened by what happens in Taiwan.

(1) What the outgoing Taiwanese reporter said is shocking, for me who has
been in US for a long time and taken a clean press for granted.
(2) The reporter named former president Chen Shui-bian also, who is my idol.
I simply can not comprehend why politicians want to buy media. Isn't word
of mouth worth more?
