(a) The Israeli newspaper has deleted this report in its website. So I have to find one site that keeps a copy.
(b) "Taiwan is a small island, certainly in Chinese terms, though with 23 million people – under political siege – it looks big to Israel."

The estimated population of Israel in 2018 is 8.9 million.
