Yesterday I have, in Note(f)(i)
kasuri  絣
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kasuri
("Prior to dyeing [dying precedes weaving], sections of the warp and weft yarns are tightly wrapped with thread to protect them from the dye. When woven together, the undyed areas interlace to form patterns")

Here is the videotape: Having dyed the threads (bundled in cords), at 2:40 (two minutes and forty seconds into the tape) the artisan removed  unwrapped the wrappers, followed by weaving.
手技TEWAZA「久留米絣」kurume pongee. YouTube.com, uploaded by 伝統工芸 青山スクエア [katakana for square (for shape or space)] on Nov 1, 2015.

Note:
(a) "Tennis star Naomi Osaka * * * he 21-year-old, born in Japan to a Haitian father and Japanese mother but raised in the United States, told NHK it will be special for her to represent host Japan at the Tokyo Games, the public broadcaster said.
Osaka, who will turn 22 on Wednesday, faced that deadline to relinquish one nationality because neither Japan nor the United States permits dual citizenship for adults."
(i) Naomi OSAKA  大坂 なおみ (born on Oct 16, 1997 in [City of] Osaka[, Prefecture of Osaka 大阪府大阪市 (ja.wikipedia.org says the city is "狭義の大阪")]  in Japan to Tamaki Osaka [大坂 環; tamaki as pronunciation of 環 ONLY when the kanji is used as a (human) name] and Leonard François; "She has an older sister named Mari who is also a professional tennis player. The two girls [no other siblings] were given their mother's maiden name for practical reasons when the family lived in Japan. Osaka's parents met when her father was visiting Hokkaido while he was a college student in New York"/  table: Turned pro 2013, Prize money $13,492,479 , Grand Slam Singles results[:] Australian Open  W (2019) + French Open 3R (2016, 2018, 2019) + Wimbledon 3R (2017, 2018) + US Open W (2018) )  en.wikipedia.org.

A highschooler Tamaki and her parents lived (parents still lives) in Nemuro 根室市
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nemuro,_Hokkaido
when she (Tamaki) met Leonard François (who is tennis coach to both daughters).
(A) W = winner (champion); 3R = lost in the third round
(B) from ja.wikipedia.org: Her elder sister 姉 is 大坂まり whereまり is pronounced "mari." height 180 cm, weight 69 kg, lives in Boca Raton, Florida
(C) Boca Raton, Florida
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boca_Raton,_Florida
(section 1 Etymology: Spanish noun masculine ratón mouse + noun feminine rata rat)
(ii) 五十音 does not have "ei" pronunciation (as in maid), so な (hiragana; pronounced as na) stands in.
(iii) dual citizenship/ dual nationality  二重国籍 in Japanese.

(b) "In January, Japanese noodle company Leonard François removed a commercial in which a cartoon character depicting Osaka was shown with pale skin and light brown hair, after it prompted an outcry."
(i) Nissin Foods
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissin_Foods
(full names: Nissin Food Holding Co, Ltd  日清食品ホールディングス株式会社; was established in 大阪府 泉大津市 in 1948 by Momofuku Andō)
(A) 安藤 百福 (1910-2007; born Taiwanese as 吳百福 in 嘉義廳 (Taiwan was a colony so his citizenship from the beginning was Japan -- no need to be naturalized); founded what is now called Nissin invented instant noodle in 1958)  en.wikipedia.org.
(B) 五十音 does not have "si," either; rather it is "shin" for 清. In japan 日清 is pronounced Nisshin (where the first s signifies a pause/silence, because the Chinese pronunciation of 日 is nichi and because the syllable of "chi" is skipped).
(C) The ja.wikipedia.org for 日清食品ホールディングス.says in section 1 社名の由来 that the company name was derived from 創業者・安藤百福's words 日々清らかに豊かな味をつくる」 and had nothing to do with 日清戦争 (1894-1895).
(D) Japanese-English dictionary:
* kiyoraka 清らか 【きよらか】 (adj): "clean; pure; chaste" (The adjective 清らか is followed by に (pronounced "ni") to create oys adverb.)
* yutaka 豊か 【ゆたか】 (adj): "abundant; wealthy; plentiful; rich; affluent"

So 安藤百福's words means: To convey purely rich flavor every day/ day after day.
(ii) Euan McKirdy, Japanese Sponsor Accused of 'Whitewashing' Tennis Star Naomi Osaka. CNN, Jan 23, 2019.
https://edition.cnn.com/2019/01/ ... one-intl/index.html

At the very beginning of the promotion (prior to the news tape, which included the anime commercial) is a side-by-side comparison of Naomi in person and in anime.
(A) Citizenship and Nationality/United States. WikiBooks, undated
https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Ci ... ality/United_States
("United States law does not contain any provisions requiring U.S. citizens who are born with dual citizenship or who acquire a second citizenship at an early age to choose one or the other when they become adults (Mandeli v. Acheson, 344 U.S. 133) (1952). The current citizenship laws of the United States do not specifically refer to dual citizenship")
(B) Mandeli v Acheson, 344 US 133 (1952)
https://scholar.google.com/schol ... mp;as_sdt=40000006#[12]
("Petitioner Mandoli was born in this country, of unnaturalized Italian parents. These circumstances made him a citizen of the United States by virtue of our Constitution and a national of Italy by virtue of Italian law. * * * And, since Congress has prescribed a law for this situation, we think the dignity of citizenship which the Constitution confers as a birthright upon every person born within its protection is not to be withdrawn or extinguished by the courts except pursuant to a clear statutory mandate")

Dean Acheson was sued in his official capacity as Secretary of State. Bureau of Consular Affairs, US Department of State issues passports.

(c) Osaka to Pick Japan Nationality for Olympics. NHK, Oct 10, 2019
https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20191010_34/
("Born to a Japanese mother and a father from Haiti, Osaka has nationality in Japan and the US [but somehow not in Haiti]. On October 16 she'll be 22, the age at which Japanese law obliges dual-nationality citizens to choose one")

There is no need to read the rest of this NHK report.
