My comment: It is a report that is worthy reading. But we all know iPad
sweep across the globe when yesterday was the first day of iPad sale outside
US. Basically the report said Japan's consumer electronic gadgets no longer
are "it" even in the eyes of Japanese. The triumph of software over
hardware--for the latter Japanese are famous.

My comment: Look at the bar chart of the report. $13-million profit out of $
4.32-billion revenue! That is profit margin of just 0.3%, well below
industry average. By comparison, Hewlett Packard in the last quarter ended
on Mar. 31 had $2.2-billion profit out of $30.8-billion revenue (profit
margin ~7.3%). Though HP has a service arm, but the title is telltale:
