Note: It seems unlikely. Taiwan once wanted to store nuclear waste (from nuclear plant) in N Korea, which urgently needed hard currency. S Korea protests. More omniously US vetoed the move--US supplied rods and contracts dictated US had a say over the waste (US simply did nto want N Korea to extract plutonium from the waste to make bombs). It appeared US also vetoed Taiwan's storage in Russia.

My comment: Japanese government does not publish textbooks; it approves. There are many textbooks there. As far as I know, approval a textbook does not mean government sactions the contents. Rather the standard of approval is quite low.

My comment: Naturally I had no idea who 刘波 is. But The BBC report has a photo, which showed he is the same one with liaison with 许晴. Mr Liu is a businessman, so I am clueless why he writes the piece.
