(1) Tom Orlik and Esther Fung, China's Provinces Feel Pinch; Hit by Higher Labor Costs, Factories Also Grapple With Cooling Export Growth. Wall Street Journal, Oct 2, 2012.
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB ... 22000575391428.html
("Factory managers and economists say Guangdong's export belt so far has avoided the mass layoffs that followed the 2008 financial crisis, which led to a shift home of about 20 million migrant workers")

My comment:
(a) The report refers to "HUANG [Si] at Dongguan Yuhe Garment Co."

I can not find the Chinese names.

(b) The report mentions "Eddie Leung, the managing director of watchmaker Dailywin Watch Products Manufacturing Ltd."
LEUNG Wai Ho, Eddie 梁 偉浩 / 得利鐘錶製品廠有限公司 (based in Hong Kong)
http://www.dailywin.com/
(c) The report also talks about "Zhou Yi, the owner of Xiehe Wire Cable."
周熠/ 东莞市协合线材有限公司
(d) The report does not say anything impressive.

(2) Bob Davis, American Jobs with Chinese Characteristics. China Real Time, Oct 2, 2012
blogs.wsj.com/chinarealtime/2012/10/02/american-jobs-with-chinese-characteristics/
(Rhodium Group, a New York consulting firm, estimates that Chinese-owned firms in the US now account for about 27,000 US jobs, compared to what Rhodium estimates are the 700,000 U.S. jobs created by Japanese-owned companies)
