My comment: The 2009
does not mention Taiwan and mention China just once:
"China shares many interests with the United States, but its increasing natural resource-focused diplomacy and military modernization are among the factors making it a complex global challenge.

My comment: Upon seeing "栈道," I first thought it was a suspension bridge. But it is impossible, being at 路边. So I wondered if 栈道 means boardwalk, and indeed it is.

("The first boardwalk was built in 1870, along a portion of the beach to help hotel owners keep sand out of their lobbies. * * * The combined length of the Atlantic City and Ventnor boardwalks—the boardwalk now ends at the Ventnor/Margate border—is approximately 5.75 miles (9.25 kilometers), currently the world's longest boardwalk.")
My comment: China is Not. 1 again, with Dalian beating Atlantic City in boardwalk length. Hands down.
