David Williams, Luxgen is Taiwan's first car; Luxgen, Taiwan's first car
brand, has revealed details and pictures of its debut model, a seven-seat
people-carrier. Telegraph, May 31, 2010.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/news/7767936/Luxgen-is-Taiwans-first-car.html
("the firm [Yulon] collaborated with major firms including Delphi, Garrett
and LMM to produce a 2.2-litre multi electronic fuel injection turbocharged
engine developing 175bhp")

Note:
(a) minivan

("Wordwide, minivans are also marketed as multi-purpose vehicles (
abbreviated MPV's)")
(b) horsepower

(check section 3.3 Brake horsepower, whose abbreviation is bhp)
(c) Luxgen

("powered by a 2.2L I-4 MEFI turbocharged engine developed by ChungHwa
Engine Corp. and tuned by Delphi. The turbocharger is supplied by Garrett")

My comment: I do not drive, nor do I know anything about cars. Certainly I
do not know what LMM stands for in the Telegraph report. Anyway, automobile
industry is not something Taiwanese can be proud of, which enjoyed
protectionism under teh administrations of Presidents Chiang Kai-shek and
Chiang Ching-kuo.
