The recent one first.

My comment:
(a) Please read the first 2 1/2 paragraphs only.
(b) The report says Tomahawk Block IV (other blocks are similar in this aspect) has "a speed of 600-900 kilometers an hour." Everybody knows Tomahawk is subsonic.
* speed of sound
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_of_sound
("In dry air at 20 °C, the speed of sound is 343.59 metres per second (1,127 ft/s). This is 1,236 kilometres per hour (768 mph)")
(2) Sam LaGrone, Video: Tomahawk Strike Missile Punches Hole Through Moving Maritime Target. USNI News, Feb 9, 2015 (video).
news.usni.org/2015/02/09/video-tomahawk-strike-missile-punches-hole-moving-maritime-target
Note: The clause "fly for an unspecified amount of time" means the report did not want to disclose how far away the target was, from the destroyer.
