(b) It appears that this website (whose rest of which has nothing to do with 朝中社, has a copy that just says above EXACTLY, followed by an introduction which may or may not (judging from the context, probably not) be 朝中社's own introduction:

"朝鲜中央通讯社简称朝中社，为朝鲜民主主义人民共和国（北朝鲜）国营通讯社，于1946年12月5日成立，总部位于平壤，并在中国、俄罗斯、古巴、印度、伊朗、埃及设有分社。朝中社发行日刊《朝鲜中央通讯》与《朝鲜中央年鉴》等刊物，除使用朝鲜语外，还用英语、俄语和西班牙语、汉语发布新闻稿。"

* However, this introduction indicates that 朝中社 publishes in English and Mandarin also.  For the latter, it MUST be traditional Chinese. See next.  
(c) The hanja 漢字 is used in both South and North Koreas.

(a) The blog reproduces faithfully the KCNA's article in both Englissh and Mandarin --for the latter in simplified Chinese. Whether KCNA publishes in simplified or traditional Chinese is unknown. and I find no North Korea's website to test te hypothesis, for a good reason.

(c) What is intriguing is the clause in paragraph 10:
(i) in Mandarin/Chinese: "为维护中国大陆的和平与安全做出贡献"  (The term 大陆 is used only once: here.)
(ii) in English: "the DPRK has just contributed to protecting peace and security of China"  (The word "mainland" is not used in ENGLISH.)
