Overseas."

In 2009, 6,162,600 came to Japan, or -21.4% year on year. Source of tourists
: S Korea (1,408,700, -38.1%), Taiwan (945,500, -28.3%), China (943,600, -0.
3%), US (644,300, -9.7%), Hong Kong (398,900, -21.4%) and Australia (187,400
, -14.8%), the top five in decreasing order.

(b) China is all the more remarkable, considering the fact that Japan
exempts visa from citizens of the other four nations for a visit of 90 days
or less.
