(1) Margaret Webb Pressler, 23 kids adopted from other countires become U.S. citizens at a ceremony
http://www.washingtonpost.com/li ... QAdPoAXO_story.html

Two consecutive paragraphs:

"Ken Cheng of Stone Ridge, Virginia, also 9, was adopted from China just four years ago, and came here speaking no English. Now he sounds totally American, right down to his favorite subjects in school: 'I have four: science, social studies, recess and lunch,' he said.

"Ken knows that becoming a citizen probably won’t change his life right now, but he said it will allow him do more things as an adult. 'I think it’s to vote for which president,' he said.

My comment: This is the only part in the report that deals with China. There is no need to read the rest.

(2) Rens Lee, Letter to Editor: The Danger China Poses. Washington Post, Dec 4, 2011
http://www.washingtonpost.com/op ... QA6WxxTO_story.html
("it [China] is not just another large Asian country like, say, India. Rather, its behavior suggests that of a potentially dangerous global competitor, a reality that the seeming complementarity of the U.S. and Chinese economies cannot obscure")

(3) Latest first.

My comment: The update in today's report, it seems to me, is "the [missile] base was almost completely leveled in the blast." A previous report said the Iranian director was killed but that Iran insisted it was an accident, having assign heavy secutiry to protect the director.

My comment: There is no need to read the rest.
