(a) The Chinese edition does not have a critical map, showing the railroads (existing, under construction and under consideration) in Indochina, including the railroad at the issue.
(b) The railroad at the issue will connect Kuming and Vientiane 老挝首都 万象--hopefully extending in the future to Bangkok and ultimately westward to Dawei 土瓦, Myanmar on the Andaman Sea.
